Since becoming the first company in Japan to provide subtitling and dubbing services in multiple languages in 1991, we at EMUS International have not only produced Japanese versions of content from around the globe, but have also played a quintessential role in the spreading of Japanese content to the world.
We have localized an array of Japanese content for numerous regions and nations. Our work includes everything from documentaries and information programs for broadcast on NHK World, feature films and television dramas for competitions, to educational programs for the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Cultural Grant Assistance to developing nations.
With our vast network of studios and translators across the globe, we provide subtitling in 38 languages, and dubbing in 34 languages.
Since we translate and dub in the target region, we are able to create localized products that adapt to the culture of local viewers.
We run quality control inspection with regards to local culture, religious climate, and historical background. In order to conform to the censorship regulations of a target region, we run quality check inspections in both Japan and that target region.
